This is what the geniouses at advertising down at some company or other came up with, after hours in their cramped little offices guaging the reactions of the elderly immigrant ladies they put in their focus groups, as their new slogan. And commercials like that are exactly why Mr. Paul 'bling bling' Lavoie is totally loaded. How hard can it be to get rich making commercials when this is the best the monkeys down in advertising at the old car rental place have to offer. I mean, what are they expecting? "Why hello, I'd like to rent a car." "OK, we can help you with that sir, any specific model you'd like?" "No, ma'am. Just so long as you're Snazzy." "Oh, don't worry sir, we have some beautiful cars on the lot just outside. Um, let me see, it seems I can get you a 2003 sunfire right now, if you'd like?" "Is it frugal?" "The pricing is very modest here, sir, we have a standard rate." "...Standard. Hmm. No, I was hoping you'd be faster. More frugal, even. Sorry." It just doesn't work to me. It's like the new Hard Rock slogan. "Yay!" That's it. I mean, have you heard this damn commercial? "The Hard rock Cafe! Yay!" This commercial is just to clear up the fact that the Hard Rock is only for Meterosexuals. You know, just in case there was any copnfusion. Paul, you see, is a friend of my dads, and the owner of a very big, very successful ad agency. He just got Pfizer for all of North America. (as if 'f' and 'ph' weren't enough, now we have 'pf' too, just to make the language even more redundant and confusing) This man's children, whom I hear are quite attractive, will never have to work. Because of people like the monkeys at the hard rock who come up with slogans like 'yay'. But I know what you're thinking. Well sure, he's got money. But is he frugal?
